Crafting a Meaningful Career

Course Description:
Do you feel the need to rejuvenate your career? Are you wondering where your clients have gone? Do you feel you are in a creative rut and could be doing more with your talent? Well, you are not alone! If you are a professional graphic artist, designer, photographer or film maker seeking a new perspective on your career, this class will help you get refocused and reinvigorated. Learn how other talented people have evolved in their careers and have taken hold of their creative destinies.

Drawing on over thirty years of experience as a creative consultant, Tony Luna will help you to get back to the reasons why you chose a career in the creative arts. Redefine your goals and explore the exciting possibilities your talent has in store for you in this information-packed, enlightening class!

Living the Dream”

Course Description:
“Living the Dream” is the logical extension of another Art Center at Night course titled, “Crafting a Meaningful Career” in which those who have completed the first course get a chance to examine what it will take to make their new career choices a reality. In “Living the Dream” participants will research market feasibility for their new art or design oriented product or service, explore manufacturing and distribution, intellectual property and legal issues. They will also examine marketing, competition, team building, financing, and other factors leading up to the development of a business plan. The students will be given milestones to achieve weekly and will be required to deliver progress reports to class members and visiting art and design professionals. Once you have rediscovered your passion you will find this class the necessary next phase of your art and design career, and help you to live your dream!

Creative Consultant, Tony Luna, will help you demystify the process of taking your career to the next level. You will meet with like-minded individuals and you will create a solid foundation for the future.
