Tony Luna Creative- Update- 5-4-2023 (May the 4's be with you.)

Attention Friends of Tony Luna Creative!

Our next Zoom SchmoozeFest! is in one week, on Thursday, May 11 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM (Pacific Time).

What’s a TLC Zoom SchmoozeFest! you ask? Well it’s a chance to meet some wonderfully talented people and listen to them tell us about their latest creative involvements, and you can share what you have been up to as well. These Zoom SchmoozeFests! are held three times a year (on the Thursday evening before each Art Center College of Design trimester) and, besides networking, it’s a great chance to practice your pitch, show your deck, and to become inspired by experiencing examples of great art and design.

Just click on the URL below and you can log in ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! And EVERYONE IS WELCOME, you don’t have to be associated with the Art Center community. So put the date/time down on your calendar and be a part of something different, uplifting, and a lot of fun.

Are you on the right career path? If you are asking yourself that question we encourage you to enroll in our “Crafting a Meaningful Career” class.

It is a truly unique class for those eager to put meaning back into their career. And in order for you to do that you need a clear direction, a sense of purpose, and a plan, together with the support and inspiration of others who have taken “Crafting a Meaningful Career.” When you take our class you don’t just attend for the fourteen weeks and it’s over, rather you become a member of a creative community available to help you stay focused and ready to grow.

Remember, when thinking about how to reinvent your career, life is too short to toil in quiet desperation.

- Shannon Smith- Photographer

(Editor’s note: Congratulations Shannon! We are extremely proud of you and we know you will make a great addition to the University of Arkansas MFA program in photography!

Hey Tony,

Just wanted to share the good news that I’ve decided to pursue my MFA at the University of Arkansas!

It was a tough decision, but I think I made the right one for me. I really connected with the faculty and students I met when I visited and am excited to work with them.

Their program offers everything I’ve been looking for, plus they are offering me tuition remission and a paid position as a Teaching Assistant.

I just wanted to say thank you again for all of your support and encouragement throughout this process. You are amazing!!! I’m not sure I would have been able to figure this out without your Crafting A Meaningful Career class!

Hope all is well.

Take care,

Shannon
